ClockOh My! It's that time again... Winter turns to Spring and a Young Man's Heart turns to... Smoke Detectors? Yes! It's time to change the batteries in all of your Smoke Detectors, timed with the Clock reset.

It's Spring Cleaning Time also. Refresh, Reduce, Recycle and generally clean out the home, garage and garden. Sarasota temps have been climbing back into the 80s (too soon!) but the mornings are still cool and bright, making it perfect for an early start to re-arrange rooms, box up old stuff and donate to Goodwill, Salvation Army or whoever is YOUR Favorite Charity!

Some areas that you may not consider cleaning but REALLY need it...
Upholstered Furniture... Rent a professional-style steam cleaner and get it done. You'll be amazed (and thoroughly grossed out) by the amount of dirt in your favorite seating piece!
WoodworkWalls and Woodwork... Think about it. The space around a door handle or drawer pull is where your hands touch and leave the mark. Stop and look at all your door frames. Use a soft, long handle duster to go over baseboards (save your back!) and the crown molding! Yes there will be cobwebs.
Floors... Know your floors and take the time to buy the RIGHT products to clean and maintain the surface. Using the right product will save tremendous time and money. If you have tile, look for the best grout cleaner!
Vacuuming... You don't have to move everything ten feet. Do shift pieces so you can give your carpet relief from the weight of furniture. Use an ice cube in the indentation, let it melt then fluff up the fibers and vacuum again.
Ceiling Fixtures... This means fans and lights! Just take a look at the fan blades and you will see the dirt accumulated along the edge (bleah!). This is what you breathe in daily! A damp cloth plus a trash can below will get that dirt off easily. wipe both sides of the blade and don't forget the motor and Pull Fob(s).
ChandelierChandeliers... Polishing glass or crystal can be a chore, but add your favorite music and you can shake your hips to the tunes while brightening your life!
Refrigerator Coils... Clean the Fridge inside and throw out the furry stuff! Also, check the coils behind the Toe Kick Grill at the bottom in front. Using a long-handled bottle brush and your vacuum hose attachment, remove any dust that has accumulated. Your fridge will cool faster and run more efficient. It's the costliest thing in your home!

Enjoy the End of Winter and beginning of a Beautiful Spring Season!
We hope that when you think about SPRINGING into action to Buy or Sell a Home in the Sarasota, Manatee or Charlotte County Area, you will consider the Extreme Home Selling Team as YOUR Partner!

We look forward to working with YOU!
